Driyu Community Pet Safety Program
Help your community prepare before the next pet goes missing.
The Driyu Community Pet Safety Program helps trusted local pet safety and recovery groups distribute privacy-first pet ID tags to families in their communities. We are opening the program to a limited number of Founding Communities.

A support layer for trusted helpers
Community Partners help distribute the program, but residents stay in control of their private information.
What the Community Pet Safety Program includes
Privacy-first by design
Community Partners help distribute the program, but residents stay in control of their private information.
Partners may manage information they collect themselves. Driyu resident or pet information is shared with a Community Partner only when the resident voluntarily chooses to share specific fields with that specific partner. Declining sharing does not disable the Driyu tag.
FAQ
Does Driyu replace local pet groups or registries?
No. Driyu supports existing registries, scanners, volunteers, shelters, microchips, Facebook groups, Nextdoor groups, animal control, and local pet groups.
Do Community Partners receive Driyu customer data?
No. Community Partners help distribute the program, but residents stay in control of their private information. Partner reporting is aggregate and non-identifying by default.
Is core lost-and-found protection free?
Yes. Core lost-and-found protection remains free for participating families.
Are free tags available to everyone everywhere?
No. We are starting with a limited number of Founding Communities, usually with 25 or 50 tags per approved community.
Are Driyu tags GPS trackers?
No. Driyu tags are scan-based pet ID tags. They are not GPS trackers and do not guarantee recovery.
How do residents stay in control of their information?
Residents activate their own tags and choose what appears on their pet’s recovery profile. If a resident later chooses to share specific pet safety information with a Community Partner, that sharing is optional, specific, and revocable. Declining sharing does not disable the Driyu tag.
