EACH SIGNAL HAS ITS MEANING

A lead. A conversation.
A return to confirm.

01

A scan opens the profile.

A finder sees the pet’s identity and permitted contacts. A lost pet or tag adds the notice and report form.

Compare the profiles
02

A report gives you a lead.

Read the message, location, and any shared contact details. Reporting and sharing the phone’s location are distinct actions.

Understand what is shared
03

The return needs confirmation.

Receiving a report does not mark the pet safe. After confirming the return, the owner can deactivate Flare in the pet profile.

CLARITY DURING THE SEARCH

A few things
to keep clear.

Does activating Flare contact local shelters for me?

Activating Flare from the pet profile creates an alert and provides recovery tools. Contacting local shelters, animal control, and community groups remains a separate owner step. This demo contacts nobody.

Does Lost Mode override my privacy choices?

The public profile still applies your saved contact-visibility choices. A missing pet or tag adds the lost notice and report form. After deactivation, ordinary public contacts can remain visible according to those settings.

Does a location show where my pet is now?

A last-seen location or a location shared by a finder relates to that moment. It does not track later movement or confirm a reunion. Driyu’s QR tag does not provide continuous GPS tracking.
