PREPARATION & RECOVERY

Know your next step.
Before you need it.

A practical list to review the essentials and return to if your pet goes missing. Driyu steps and the outreach you do yourself each have their place.

THEIR WAY TO THEIR PEOPLE

Keep the details.
Keep a connection.
12steps to review
01

Start close to home.

Make it easier to reach you, and let the people nearby know.

In your account, open the correct pet and review Activate Driyu Flare. Location is optional. If email verification is requested, complete it before continuing.

Explore the walkthrough

Keep your phone charged and nearby. Review the phone or email that your public profile allows a finder to use.

Review public visibility

Check familiar places, entrances, and nearby spaces where it is safe to do so. Ask people nearby whether they have seen your pet.

Let household members know what happened and where your pet was last seen, so they can check entrances and share useful observations.

02

Give the search a face.

A clear photo and consistent details help explain who you are looking for.

Prepare a recent photo, a short description, the last-seen area, and a contact channel for local lost-pet groups. Review the details before posting.

Explore Recovery Cards

Tell nearby shelters and animal-control offices about your missing pet. Share identifying details and a way to reach you.

Use one clear photo, the date and area last seen, and a contact channel. If you use a recovery link or QR, check the destination before sharing.

Read the location, message, and any finder contact details. A report is information to follow up on; it does not confirm your pet has returned.

If your pet has a microchip, keep its number and the registry details somewhere you can find them.

Keep your vet’s contact and relevant care notes available. Review what belongs in a public alert separately from your private medical records.

Understand recovery privacy

Scan your linked tag and check the pet photo and visible contact options. Keep at least one reachable contact available.
