How to Activate Your Driyu Tag

Scan your tag, create your free account, add your pet, and your Driyu tag is connected in minutes.

No app download required. No credit card required. Just scan, sign up, and connect your pet.

Step-by-step

Step 1

Scan the QR Code on Your Tag

Open the camera on your phone and point it at the QR code on the back of your Driyu tag. A link will appear on your screen — tap it to begin.

Step 2

Confirm Your Tag Was Detected

You will see a friendly screen that says your new tag is ready to activate. This means your phone read the tag correctly. Tap continue to move on.

Create Your Free Account

Enter your name, your email, and a password you will remember. Your free Driyu account takes about a minute to set up. No credit card is needed.

Step 4

Activate the Tag

Tap the activate button to link your new tag to your account. From this moment on, the tag belongs to you and your pet.

Add Your Pet's Basic Details

Tell us your pet's name, the kind of animal, and a few simple details like color or breed. You can also add a phone number where you would like to be reached.

Add a Photo and Create the Profile

Choose a clear photo of your pet so a kind stranger can recognize them. Then tap save to create the profile. The photo is the most important part.

See Your Confirmation

A confirmation screen will let you know your Driyu tag is now connected to your pet. You are all set. You can close this screen and use your pet’s tag.

Your Pet Safety Dashboard

From your dashboard you can update your pet’s profile, change your phone number, or add a second pet at any time. You can return here whenever you need to.

Common questions

Do I need to download an app?

No. Driyu works directly from the web browser on your phone. There is nothing to install.

Do I need a credit card?

No. Activating your tag and creating your free Driyu account does not require a credit card.

What if I already have a Driyu account?

Scan your new tag with your phone camera, then choose “Log In to Activate” and sign in with the email and password you already use.

What if my camera does not scan the tag?

First, make sure the QR code is clean and well lit. If the camera still does not read it, look for the short web address printed on the tag and type it into your phone browser.

Can I add more details about my pet later?

Yes. After activation, you can return to your dashboard at any time and keep improving your pet’s profile — add photos, notes, or a second phone number.

Can one tag be used for more than one pet?

Each Driyu tag is linked to one pet. If you have more than one pet, each one will need its own tag, but they can all live inside the same free account.

Finish setting up your pet’s protection

Activating your tag connects it to your pet. The strongest protection comes when the rest of your account is complete. After activation, open your dashboard and take a few minutes to finish the items below.

  1. Finish your pet’s profile.

    Add a clear photo and fill in your pet’s details — species, breed, gender, weight, main color, distinguishing marks, and microchip number if your pet has one.

  2. Complete your personal profile.

    Add your full name, phone number, and home address so a finder or Driyu can reach you quickly.

  3. Add an emergency contact.

    Add a family member, friend, neighbor, veterinarian, or groomer who can be reached if you cannot. You can mark a primary contact and choose whether they are notified by email or text message.

  4. Add health and safety information.

    Add allergies, current medications, vaccinations, and any special instructions a finder or caretaker would need to know about your pet.

  5. Review your public recovery preferences.

    In your account visibility settings, choose what a finder can see when they scan your tag — your phone, email, city, state, and backup contacts. Keeping your phone and email visible helps a finder reach you faster.

  6. Turn on the notifications you want.

    Choose to be alerted when your tag is scanned, when there is a lost-pet alert near you, or when a found-pet report comes in about your pet.

  7. Keep checking your dashboard.

    Your dashboard shows how complete your pet’s profile is. Keep adding details until your profile is as complete as possible.
