How does billing renew, and are taxes included?+
Pro is a recurring subscription: $4.99 per month or $44.99 per year in USD. The annual plan is charged as one yearly payment; its monthly equivalent is only a comparison. Review the final total, any taxes, renewal date, and trial eligibility at checkout before confirming.
Does canceling automatically give me a refund?+
Cancellation and a refund request are separate. Refunds for unused portions of a subscription are considered case by case under the refund policy and applicable law. Contact support@driyu.com or Paddle buyer support with your purchase details for help.
Can a dog sitter help without becoming the owner?+
Yes. Family Sync lets you invite a dog sitter, trusted friend, or family member to the pet’s profile. Choose Guardian or View Only access; the invitation must be accepted. You remain the owner. Caregiver capacity depends on the pet owner’s plan; check the current allowance in your account.
Can I transfer my pet to a new owner with their records?+
Where available in your account, pet ownership transfer moves the pet’s profile, medical records, and Smart Tag to another Driyu account after the recipient reviews and accepts. This changes ownership; use Family Sync for a sitter or temporary care instead. Your personal emergency contacts and subscription do not transfer. Can I use Driyu without Pro?+
Yes. The current Free foundation includes unlimited pet profiles, Driyu Guide for help navigating the app, QR activation, recovery contact tools, emergency contacts, and privacy controls. Free also has limited medical-record, document, and caregiver capacity where available. Pro expands those allowances and adds the advanced tools shown above. A physical tag is a separate product.
Is there a Pro trial?+
The existing offer describes a 14-day trial for eligible new paid subscriptions. It requires a payment method, and billing starts automatically unless canceled before the trial ends. Existing trials and upgrades can have different terms, including an immediate charge. Review the terms in the real app before confirming. This example starts no trial.
Does Free include a physical tag or shipping?+
Creating a Free account does not automatically order a tag. The standard Smart Tag offer lists the tag as free, with shipping and handling charged separately. You do not need Pro to order one. Review availability and final fees in the app before confirming. This demo places no order.
What happens to recovery if I leave Pro?+
The app separates activated tags and core recovery from Pro tools. Leaving Pro does not itself disable those tags. Access to paid tools can change; review your account’s transition details before changing a subscription. Cancellation and deleting your account are separate actions.
What about Founder or partner plans?+
Founder is a separate consumer offer with its own availability and continued-subscription terms. Reseller plans are business plans, not an offer available to every pet owner. This comparison focuses on Free and standard Pro and does not change existing memberships.

What happens to Founder pricing if I cancel?+
Founder is $27.99 per year in USD, subject to availability. The special rate requires a continuously active subscription in good standing. The offer states that cancellation or a lapse permanently loses that rate. Enrollment may close; review availability and final terms in your account.

How does Driyu support shelters?+
Driyu aims to expand access to safety tools for shelter and rescue pets as it grows. Founder support helps this long-term mission; no fixed donation or number of tags is promised per membership.
