Nutrition & Food Tracking for a healthier routine
Keep your pet’s food, feeding notes, and weight-support details organized in one place. Driyu helps you stay aware of feeding routines, support healthy-weight conversations, and bring better information to your veterinarian — it does not diagnose, treat, or replace your vet.
Why nutrition matters
- Many pets carry extra weight. In a 2022 U.S. survey, the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention found that most dogs and cats were overweight or had obesity — and many owners did not recognize it in their own pet. Source: Association for Pet Obesity Prevention — 2022 U.S. Pet Obesity Survey
- Healthy weight is an important part of pet wellness. The American Veterinary Medical Association notes that keeping a pet at a healthy weight lowers the risk of problems like arthritis, diabetes, and breathing difficulty. Source: American Veterinary Medical Association — Your pet’s healthy weight
- Good nutrition is individual. The WSAVA Global Nutrition Guidelines emphasize a feeding plan tailored to each pet and reviewed with your veterinary team — not a one-size-fits-all approach. Source: World Small Animal Veterinary Association — WSAVA Global Nutrition Guidelines
- Keeping a clear food history helps you have a more informed conversation with your veterinarian about weight, allergies, or a change in diet. Driyu helps you stay organized; your veterinarian guides the decisions.
What matters most
Track what your pet eats
Build a food profile and log meals so the feeding plan is always clear.
Keep food notes in one place
Save brand, portion, and special instructions where caregivers can find them.
See feeding history
Look back at what was fed and when, so nothing gets double-fed or missed.
What you can track for free
The core of Nutrition is free for every pet: a food profile (brand and type), feeding times and routine, portion notes, and food notes for anything special — like a prescription diet, a picky eater, or an allergy or sensitivity your vet asked you to watch. Log meals as your pet is fed and look back at a basic feeding history. Owners and guardians can edit the plan; sitters and viewers can see the feeding instructions so your pet is fed the way you intend.
What Pro / AI adds
For Pro members, the AI Nutrition Assistant (Pro Beta) helps you organize nutrition questions and general feeding guidance, drawing on the food information you’ve already logged. It is here to help you prepare and stay organized — it does not diagnose, treat, or replace your veterinarian, and it never makes medical decisions for your pet.

Driyu does not replace your veterinarian
Nutrition & Food Tracking helps you keep records and stay organized — it is not medical advice. For medical concerns, allergies, chronic conditions, or any diet change, talk to your veterinarian. Your pet’s food information stays private to you and the people you share the pet with; it is never shown to someone who simply scans the tag.

Common questions
How do I add my pet’s food?
Open your pet’s profile and go to the Nutrition section. Add a food profile with the brand, portion, and feeding times, then log meals as your pet is fed. You can add food notes for anything special, like a prescription diet or a picky eater.
What’s free in Nutrition?
The food profile, food log, food notes, feeding routine, and basic feeding history are all free for every pet. There is nothing to upgrade to start tracking what your pet eats.
What is AI Nutrition, or Pro Nutrition?
AI Nutrition is a Pro Beta add-on. It uses the food information you’ve logged to help you organize nutrition questions and general feeding guidance. The free food tracking works on its own — AI Nutrition is an optional extra for Pro members.
Is AI Nutrition veterinary advice?
No. AI Nutrition helps you organize questions and general guidance — it does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it does not replace your veterinarian. Always confirm anything important with your vet.
When should I contact my veterinarian?
Contact your veterinarian for any medical concern, food allergy, chronic condition, sudden change in appetite or weight, or before changing your pet’s diet. Driyu helps you keep records to bring to that conversation — it does not replace it.
Who is Nutrition for?
Every pet owner — not only pets with a health problem. It helps pets keeping a healthy weight, pets that need to lose or gain weight, growing puppies and kittens, senior pets, pets with allergies or sensitivities, pets on a vet-guided diet, and households where more than one person feeds the pet.
Can Driyu help my pet lose or gain weight?
Driyu helps you track food and notes and stay organized, which can support a weight conversation with your veterinarian. Driyu does not create a weight-loss or weight-gain plan — your veterinarian designs the plan for your pet, and Driyu helps you keep the details in one place.
What details should I add?
Add the current food brand and type, portion and feeding times, how often your pet eats, treats, any allergies or sensitivities, anything your vet recommended, and your goal (maintain, lose, gain, or switch food). The more you record, the better prepared you are for your next vet visit.
