Scan your own tag with your phone camera and open the link. Create an account or log in, then create a pet profile or choose a pet you already own. The final Create & Activate Tag or Assign Tag to Pet action connects the tag.

Try good light and bring the whole QR code into view. If you still cannot scan, log in and open Smart tags, choose Link a Tag → I have a tag, then enter the code and choose an existing pet.

Yes. When your account has an existing pet, the scan activation screen offers Assign to Existing Pet. Select the correct pet before assigning the tag. You do not need a second profile for the same pet.

A linked tag opens its pet’s public profile. If it is your pet, manage it from your account. If it belongs to someone else’s pet, use the public contact options. Do not create a new profile to take over someone else’s tag.

The account flow may ask you to confirm your email before continuing. Follow the email-confirmation instructions if they appear, then return to your tag. The walkthrough uses a prepared account and sends no email.

No. Its QR code opens a web profile when someone scans it. Scan context or a location a finder chooses to share is not a continuous view of your pet’s movements.

No. The finder can open the public profile in a phone browser using the QR link. A connected phone is needed to load the page. Contact options depend on the owner’s saved visibility choices.

The public pet identity and the contact details your settings allow. Phone, email, city, state, and emergency contacts have visibility controls. Keep at least one reachable contact available. Full medical records and private documents are separate.

Open the pet’s profile and activate Driyu Flare. Review the public contact details and use Recovery Cards if available. A finder report is information to follow up on; it does not automatically mark your pet safe.

Keep recent photos, reachable contacts, microchip registry details if applicable, and useful care information available. The lost-pet checklist covers profile review, local outreach, and following up on reports.

Contact support to confirm the replacement process and any applicable costs or shipping. Once you have the replacement, activate it against the existing pet profile. This example does not create an order.

Family Sync lets you invite a dog sitter or trusted caretaker with Guardian or View Only access. A pending invitation is separate from an accepted member. An emergency contact or private Care Team provider does not automatically receive account access.

The pet profile organizes medical records, observations, and weight history. Cloud Vault holds documents. These owner tools are separate from the public scan profile. See the feature guides for details.
