How to use Foster / Rescue Organization in a pet profile
Foster / Rescue Organization is an optional section inside a pet profile where the pet owner can store the organization or person connected to the pet origin or care history — a rescue, shelter, foster home, or breeder. The information is private to the owner and is not shown on public tag or lost-pet scan pages.
Where do I find Foster / Rescue Organization?
In your Driyu Dashboard, open Pets, then create or edit a pet. Scroll to the Foster / Rescue Organization section.
How do I turn it on?
The section is off by default. Toggle it on and the fields appear.
What information can I add?
Organization name, organization type (rescue, shelter, breeder, foster, or other), contact person, contact phone, contact email, and notes.
Can I use it for a rescue or shelter?
Yes. A rescue can record its name and contact on a pet profile. A shelter can be recorded as the organization tied to the pet.
Can I use it for a breeder?
Yes. A breeder can keep breeder organization info in a pet profile.
Can a breeder use this for a puppy litter?
Yes. A breeder can create a profile per puppy, attach smart tags, add owner-entered vaccine and profile details, and keep breeder organization info on each profile. Later, the breeder can transfer each puppy profile to the new owner so the new owner starts with a more complete record. Driyu does not verify the breeder or the records; the details are owner-entered.
Does it transfer when I transfer the pet?
Yes. The information is attached to the pet, so the pet profile can move with the pet to the new owner. This does not change how pet transfer itself works.
Is this information public?
No. This information is for the pet owner private profile experience and is not meant to be shown on public tag or lost-pet scan pages.
Is this shown when someone scans the tag?
No. Foster / Rescue Organization details are not shown on public tag or lost-pet scan pages.
Can I remove or turn it off?
Yes. Turn the section off and the details are removed from your active profile view. You can turn it back on later.
Does Driyu verify the organization or vaccine records?
No. This information is owner-entered. Driyu does not verify organizations, breeders, vaccines, or medical records. For medical or vaccine accuracy, check with your veterinarian or the organization directly.
Step-by-step
- Log in to Driyu.
- Go to Dashboard.
- Open Pets.
- Create or edit a pet.
- Find the Foster / Rescue Organization section.
- Turn the section ON.
- Add the organization name, type, contact details, and any notes.
- Save.
- Reopen to confirm the details are saved.
- Turn OFF if no longer needed — you can turn it back on later.
