  • Keep origin info connected

Store the rescue, shelter, foster, or breeder in one place — attached to the pet, not lost in a separate note.

  • Travels with the pet

When ownership is transferred, the pet profile can move with the pet so the new owner starts with the organization details already in place.

  • Private to the owner

This section is not shown on public tag or lost-pet scan pages. It is for the pet owner private profile only.

How it works

Open a pet in your Dashboard and edit it. Turn on the Foster / Rescue Organization section, then add the organization name, type (rescue, shelter, breeder, foster, or other), contact person, phone, email, and any notes. Save — the information stays attached to that pet profile. The section is off by default; turn it on when you need it and off when you are done. If you later transfer the pet to a new owner, the pet profile can move with the pet so the new owner starts with the organization info already in place.

Who it helps

Rescues and shelters can record their organization on a pet profile before adoption. Foster families can keep the rescue or foster contact connected while caring for a pet. Breeders can create a profile per puppy, attach smart tags, add owner-entered vaccine and profile details, and keep breeder organization info on each profile — then transfer the puppy profile to the new owner so the new owner starts with a more complete record. Driyu does not verify organizations, breeders, vaccines, or medical records; the details are owner-entered. Owners rehoming or adopting can keep origin contact on the record and pass it along on transfer.

This information is private

Foster / Rescue Organization details are not shown on public tag or lost-pet scan pages. This section is for the pet owner private profile experience only. The information is owner-entered — Driyu does not verify organizations, breeders, vaccines, or medical records. For medical or vaccine accuracy, check with your veterinarian or the organization directly.

What is Foster / Rescue Organization?

An optional, off-by-default section inside a pet profile (Dashboard → Pets → edit pet) where the pet owner can store the rescue, shelter, foster home, or breeder connected to the pet. It is private to the owner and not shown on public tag or lost-pet scan pages.

Is this information shown to the public?

No. Foster / Rescue Organization details are not shown on public tag or lost-pet scan pages. This is private owner profile information.

Does the organization info transfer when I transfer the pet?

Yes. The information is attached to the pet, so the pet profile can transfer to the new owner with the organization details already in place. This does not change how pet transfer itself works.

Can a breeder use this for a puppy litter?

Yes. A breeder can create a profile per puppy, attach smart tags, add owner-entered vaccine and profile details, and keep breeder organization info on each profile. Driyu does not verify the breeder or the records; the details are owner-entered. When the puppy goes to a new owner, the breeder can transfer the puppy profile so the new owner starts with a more complete record.

Can I turn it off?

Yes. Turning the section off removes the details from your active profile view. You can turn it back on later.

Does Driyu verify the organization or any records?

No. This information is owner-entered. Driyu does not verify organizations, breeders, vaccines, or medical records. For medical or vaccine accuracy, check with your veterinarian or the organization directly.
