How Driyu fits into the work you already do.
Does Driyu replace microchips or shelter systems?
No. It complements microchips, shelter records, animal control, veterinary care and existing recovery networks. Driyu adds a scan-based pet ID that the family controls after adoption.
Do shelters receive adopters’ personal data?
No automatic access is provided to customer accounts, contact details or pet profiles. The adopter controls the recovery profile. Reporting to the shelter is aggregate and non-identifying by default.
Is core lost-and-found protection free?
Yes, for participating families. Approved programs can distribute tags during adoptions or community events at no cost to the family. Program requests are reviewed before approval.
Are the tags GPS trackers?
No. Driyu tags identify a pet through a scan. They are not GPS trackers and do not guarantee recovery.
Is there a shelter dashboard?
No shelter dashboard, administrative intake or partner-side data tools are promised today. Future tools may be considered using feedback from approved partners.
What happens at adoption handoff?
The new owner activates the tag, sets up the recovery profile and chooses what to share. The shelter places the pet with a family; Driyu adds a recovery layer that family controls.
