Know when your tag is scanned.
When a finder scans your Driyu tag, Driyu can help send that scan to you. If the finder chooses to share their location, that location can travel with the alert. You stay in control of what you receive.

When someone scans your Driyu tag, Driyu can let you know — and if the finder chooses to share their location, that context can travel with the alert. Here's a short look at how it works.
What's most important
Scan-based, finder-led
Alerts start when someone scans your tag, not before.
Scan location with consent
If a finder chooses to share their location, Driyu can help send that scan location to the owner.
Denied-location alerts logged
When lost mode is on and location is not shared, the scan is still logged so you know it happened.
How a scan becomes an alert.
A finder taps their phone to your tag. The recovery screen opens. If the finder reports the pet as found, they can choose to share their device location. Driyu can help send that scan location to the owner.
Finder consent is the rule.
Location is never taken automatically. The finder chooses whether to share. When your pet is in lost mode and a finder declines to share location, you still receive a record that a scan happened. There is no always-on tracking and no surveillance feed.

What scan alerts are and are not
We are not GPS; we do not track your pet location. We do not promise guaranteed recovery. We do not claim a nationwide alert network; we have a recovery profile that works. Scan alerts depend on a finder scanning the tag and choosing whether to share their location.
Common questions
Is the location automatic?
No. The finder chooses whether to share their device location. Nothing is captured without that choice.
What if the finder declines to share location?
If your pet is in lost mode, the scan is still logged. You receive a record so you know a scan happened, even without a location. Outside of lost mode, scans without finder action do not generate an owner alert.
Does Driyu track my pet between scans?
No. Driyu is not GPS and does not track your pet location. Alerts begin only when a finder scans the tag.
Where does the scan information appear?
On your owner dashboard. You can review when a scan happened and, when shared, the scan location.
